Sketchbook - Palm Springs Film Festival

This was the father of a family band (he, his wife, and their two sons) from Bolivia who preformed at the Palm Springs Film Festival. They had also composed the soundtrack to one of the films - if I can find their card, I will plug them because they were great.

He was an incredible artist and he signed the drawing for me :)

Sketchbook - Lady at a Coffee Bean

Vivian Lee 2012
I saw this woman at a Coffee Bean on Hollywood. She ordered a small Ice Blendz, took one sip, called over the barista to throw it away and had a new one made. She did this three times. She was outside and I was inside so I could never hear what she said.

Sketchbook Drawings from Texas

Wedding sketch from March! My boyfriend's brother and his beautiful wife and also their cat Opie. I take a tiny set of water colors everywhere with me so I can do things like this on the road.

Stills from my thesis film "Baseball Boogie"

Matt Groening, the creator of the Simpsons, funded my thesis film an animated film called "Baseball Boogie." It finally debuted for Matt this Friday and received the only critique of all selected 10 films:

"Sweet."

This film is a music video based on the true events of my father's  upbringing and the positive influence is silent and supportive father had on his baseball career. The song "Baseball Boogie" was recorded by my father in 1980 in Japan, where he spent 12 years playing for the Lotte Orions (now the Chiba Marines) after playing in the American Majors (Cardinals, Dodgers, Indians, Padres)

David Silverman, Leron Lee, me and Matt Groening!
